Moment

The Anglican Church of Uganda is one of 11 Gafcon Provinces. The House of Bishops had a Zoom seminar in early October on 'How the Church can Promote Zero-Tolerance for Gender-Based Violence'. The Mother’s Union is doing workshops and radio programmes on this in different dioceses; and the Provincial Children’s Ministry has launched a resource called ‘Positive Parenting’. They are moving around the country training clergy in how to teach positive parenting in their churches. 

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for these initiatives to teach positive parenting and to bring practical applications of the gospel of peace into families. We pray that you will strengthen the ministries of The Mothers Union and the Provincial Children’s Ministry to reach throughout Uganda and through your Holy Spirit to change hearts and behaviour. Amen.’
