Moment

The Episcopal Church of South Sudan is one of 11 Gafcon Provinces. Last week, in Jonglei State, in the Diocese of Athooch gunmen attacked the village of Makol Chuei. They killed the Dean of the Cathedral, and women and children who were seeking sanctuary, and burnt the village. Altogether 32 people were killed. The attack is part of the conflict between warring factions. 

Prayer

Pray for peace in South Sudan. Pray for the families of those murdered. Pray for the role of the Anglican Church in bringing about reconciliation.
