Gafcon Australia is one of seven Gafcon Branches. This month the Anglican Church of Australia’s Appellate Tribunal came to a majority opinion that allowing the blessing of same-sex marriages is not inconsistent with the constitution of the Anglican Church of Australia.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, please give the leaders of Gafcon Australia wisdom and grace as they respond to the decision of the Appellate Tribunal. May they be a positive focus for unity as they ‘make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace’ (Ephesians 4:3), boldly standing upon the sufficiency, authority, truth and beauty of God’s Word. Amen.
